Born July 22, 1951 in Wilmington, Nancy was a daughter of the late Asberry Brown, Jr. and Nancy A. Mansfield-Brown. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated from Beauty School in 1979. She can be remembered as an excellent singer, and greatly enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Nancy was fond of the outdoors, liked to fish and was known for her cooking. She could often be found enjoying her down time sitting at her picnic table, and she truly cherished the time spent doing crafts with her grand babies.

The family wishes to extend their most sincere appreciation for the compassion and attention provided by the doctors and staff at Midwest Oncology and Joliet Area Community Hospice. The kind care of the nursing staff at Silver Cross Hospital in the recent days, will also be remembered always.
