Myron C. Wills

Age 80 of Mazon, passed away Friday March 11, 2011 at Morris Hospital.

Born January 14, 1931 in Morris, Myron was a son of the late Clyde Hill and Alice McClellen-Wills. He was raised and educated in Maine Township and was a graduate of Coal City High School. Myron was a veteran of the United States Marines and proudly served during the Korean Conflict. On September 25, 1951, Myron married Susie Waters in The Coal City United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on January 8, 1993. Myron farmed his entire life in Maine Township and also held past employment with Sponge Cushion in Morris, as well as worked Security at Quantum. Myron was a member of the Mazon United Methodist Church and can be remembered for his love of working in his yard, taking rides in the country and enjoying NASCAR and stock car racing.

Survivors include his two children: Steve (Michelle) Wills of Somonauk and Myra Sproull of Mazon; seven grandchildren: Stephanie Sproull of Mazon, John Sproull of Verona, Amy (Corey) Robinson of Braidwood, Andrea (Tim) Cullom and Ana (Chris) Freis, both of Coal City, Alicia (Garrett) Blake of Germany and Stephen Wills of Somonauk; great grandchildren: Cody, Austin and Tory King, Brennan Wills, Kate Cullom, Savanna and Baby (due in September) Fries and Mason VanAmburgh and one sister Gloria (Robert) Zerboglio of Coal City.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents and wife Susie.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2011 between the hours of 3:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Wednesday March 16th at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Jill Bunker officiating. Burial will be in Mazon Brookside Cemetery and pallbearers will be: Corey Robinson, Tim Cullom, Chris Freis, Garrett Blake, John Sproull and Cody King.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Myron's memory to the MVK Ambulance Fund, 606 Front Street, Mazon, Illinois 60444
