MILDRED JACQUE
Age 95 and a long time resident of Wilmington, died Saturday March 04, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Mildred was born in Joliet on April 01, 1910, a daughter of the late Hugh and Marie (Beatty) Bolton of Joliet. A graduate of Joliet Township High School in 1928 and of Joliet Junior College in 1930. Mildred also attended the University of Illinois. She worked at Klines Departments Store in Joliet and at her brothers restaurant a�" Bolton's Island Restaurant in Wilmington. Mildred was a fifty year member of the Eastern Star and the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Ruth Circle Secretary.
Mildred is survived by her daughter-in-law, June (Dotson) Jacque of Wilmington and granddaughters: Julie (Rick) Nally of Naperville and Joyce (Scott) Twait of Sherman, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Jacque, her son James Jacque of Wilmington, her Parents, her sister Virginia Ferguson of Texas and her brother DeWitt Bolton of Wilmington.
Mildred enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling with family and music. At family get togethers she told many wonderful stories from her past and was a joy to listen to. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington on Tuesday March 07, 2006, where the family will receive friends between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday March 8th at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Jason Carle officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Mildred's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
