Mildred M. Haldorson
Age 88 of Coal City, passed away Saturday October 13, 2007 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where she resided for the past three years.
Born July 04, 1919 in Coal City, Millie was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Vavrik) Stewart. She was employed at UniRoyal Inc. for many years, and later worked for Coils, Inc. in Dwight and Coils, Inc. in Wilmington until she retired. Millie enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, being around other people and was an avid Cubs fan.
Survivors include one daughter Donna (Edward) Pacchetti of Carbon Hill and one son Dean (Becky) Haldorson of Coal City. One brother Melvin Stewart and three grandsons: David (Renee) Super, Shawn Super and Brian Super, all of Coal City and five great grandchildren: Ashley, Caitlyn, Lakin, Jenna and Connor.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: Kenneth, Hank, Thomas, Samuel and James, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 16, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday October 17th at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Dr. Avery Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and pallbearers will be: David Super, Shawn Super, Brian Super, Edward Pacchetti, Terry Stewart and Bryant Fitzgerald.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Millie's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Activities Fund.
