Michael Henry Harder

Age 49 of Morris, formerly Centralia, Illinois, passed away Friday December 18, 2015 at his home.

Born February 26, 1966 in Boonville, Missouri, Michael Henry is a son of Jean L. (Nierman) Harder and the late Arthur C. Harder. He was raised and educated in Centralia, and on July 8, 1989, Michael married Angie Smith in Morris, Illinois.  He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially four-wheeling, and truly cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife: Angie Harder of Morris; his mother: Jean L. Harder; two children: Megan Harder (Eduardo Pichardo) and Brock Harder, both of Morris; two grandchildren: Breezy and Brody Pichardo-Harder; two siblings: Philip Harder and Julie (Chad) Yost; many brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father: Arthur “Bud” Harder.

Visitation and video tribute will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block east of Illinois Route 47), in Morris. Pastor Caleb Counterman will officiate.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
