Micalah Sembach

Micalah Elizabeth Sembach

Age 15 of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 12, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born January 4, 1998 in Hinsdale, Micalah is the daughter of Michael J. and Margo Somers Sembach. She was a freshman at Wilmington High School, where she was active in both band and chorus. Micalah had a true love of music and the water, as well as animals and Facebook. She cherished her family and friends, and will be remembered for not only loving life, but for making others love life.

Survivors include her parents Michael and Margo Sembach of Wilmington; maternal grandparents: Arnold and Pat Somers of Lincolnshire, Illinois; paternal grandparents: Elizabeth "Mimi" and Edwin "Zaddie" Weinstein of Seneca, South Carolina; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousins Amanda Harper and Kyle Hourigan; her godmother Rita Johns, and many extended family, as well as friends; especially Melissa and Aaron Johnson.

Micalah was preceded in death by her cousin Jeremy Stella.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Sunday March 17, 2013 from 1:00PM until time of Celebration of Life 4:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Micalah's memory to The Wilmington High School Music Boosters, 209u Wildcat Court, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.
