Melinda Faye Bonham

Age 50 of Braceville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Morris Hospital.

Born August 3, 1963 in Joliet, Melinda was the daughter of the late Vernie and Gaynell Williams. She was raised and educated in the Wilmington area; was a former contractor with ComEd working as a radiation technician, and also held employment with UniTec in Morris. Melinda was known to be a workaholic, and in her spare time she enjoyed watching crime shows on TV. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and her grandchildren.

Survivors include four children: Jeremiah (Tracy) Bonham of Yorkville, Rachael (Kevin) Grieff of Yorkville, and Megan Bonham and Paige Bonham both of Braceville; two grandchildren: Micah Ceuss and Milo Bonham; sister: Barbara Johns of Westervelt, and two brothers: Mike (Colleen) Williams of Wilmington and Mark Williams of Tennessee, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents and sister Toni Fancher.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 between the hours of 12 noon and 4:00PM at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral Services will follow on Monday, February 3rd at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Green Cremation will be accorded at the conclusion of the services.

Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington at a later date.
