Mary Soprych

Age 66 of Joliet, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Born May 31, 1950 in Chicago. Mary Marie was the daughter of Walter and Marie (Gaggley) Zimmerman. She was raised in Chicago and on February 12, 1971 Mary married Roman Soprych, Sr.  Her life's work was acting as a caregiver in many facets of healthcare. Mary was a member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge and the Wilmington American Legion - Post 191.

She is survived by her son Roman Soprych, Jr. of Joliet.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother: Frank Corona.

Per Mary's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial visitation with video tribute will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington, with Pastor Avery Wilson officiating.

Preferred memorials, in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Mary's memory to her family for their distribution.
