Age 85 of Mazon, passed away with her family by her side on September 21, 2008 at Morris Hospital. She was born April 4, 1923 in Farmer City to Theodore and Mary (Lane) Coyle. On June 27, 1942 she married Dominic J. Ferrara in St. Louis. They lived in the Colfax, Towanda, and Bloomington areas until moving to Mazon in 1957. She worked for Coils, Inc and was involved with the Boy Scouts, teaching CCD classes at Immaculate Conception Church in Morris and coached Little League Baseball.

Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, but most of all enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Dominic. One daughter Renee (Roger Haacke) Bannon, Three sons, Rich (Beth) Ferrara, Dana (Rhonda) Ferrara, Dale (Carla) Ferrara and one Son-in-Law Vernon Arnold. Grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Arnold, Dee Dee (Jerry) Haff, Dan (Rachel) Edwards, Rik (Quinn) Ferrara, Eric (Courtney Vaughn) Ferrara, Chad (Sam) Lindemuth, Brett (Mary Carey) Ferrara, Joey Lynn (Steve) Stone, Cory (Kristen DeGraff) Lindemuth, Doug (Tif) Ferrara, Cyle (Denise) Lindemuth, Carre (Steve Taggert) Ferrara, and Cirk Lindemuth. 27 great grandchildren and one expected in October. 9 great-great grandchildren. One sister, Louise Lundy and three brothers, Lew Vernon Coyle, Russell Coyle and Ralph Hobson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and step-mother Eva (Morgan) Coyle. Two daughters Donna Arnold in 2007 and Eva Lindemuth in 1995. One grandson, Kevin Arnold in 1962. 2 brothers and a step-sister Mary Hardt.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday September 24, 2008 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Thursday September 25th at 10:00AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 514 East Jackson Street in Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Richard Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and pallbearers will be: Brian Arnold, Dan Edwards, Rik Ferrara, Eric Ferrara, Chad Lindemuth, Brett Ferrara, Cory Lindemuth, Doug Ferrara, Cyle Lindemuth and Cirk Lindemuth and Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Haff and Steve Stone.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts on Marjorie's memory to her family for distribution to local charities of their choosing at a later date.
