Marion Porter

MARION I. PORTER Age 81 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday June 09, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Kanakakee. Born September 03, 1923 on Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late Clay and Mildred Rathbone. Marion was very active with the Women?s Auxiliary of the Malcomb J. Mayo Post of the VFW in Wilmington and a member of the Island City Baptist Church in Wilmington. Survivors include her two daughters: Betty (Art) Marganelli of Dolton, Illinois and Nancy (Ron) Wilkerson of Momence, Illinois, as well as three brothers, one sister and three grand and great grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and husband Clarence. Visitation will be held on Monday June 13, 2005 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Pastor Ron Taylor will officiate and interment will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
