Age 44 of Morris passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 29, 2008.

Born March 15, 1964 in Krasnoyarski-Krey, Russia, Marina is a daughter of Tatiana Burova of Russia and the late Nikolei Puhkov. She was raised and educated in Moscow and on February 07, 1997 Marina married David Montanus in Morris, Illinois. She worked as a seamstress of both clothing and home interiors and was formerly employed in alterations at Baum's in Morris. Marina truly enjoyed her pets, gardening, reading and classical music.

Survivors include her husband David and three children: Yegor "Gosha" Sidunov, Ashley Nicole Montanus and Austin Gabriel Montanus, all of Morris; one aunt Katya Burova of Israel and two cousins Alla Fuller of Salisbury, North Carolina and Sasha Burov of Israel.

Marina was preceded in death by her grandparents Semyon and Nadezhda Burova; father Nikolei Puhkov and step-father Peter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 05, 2008 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris.

Marina will then lie in state Thursday November 06, 2008 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 10:00AM at First Christian Church, 455 West Southmor Road in Morris where Dr. Chuck Richardson will officiate.

Burial will be in Sample Cemetery and pallbearers will be: Gosha Sidunov, Richard Kopczick, Steve Lutz, Steve Montanus, Jared Kopczick and Justin Kopczick.
