Marianne Reeves

Age 56 of Wilmington, formerly of Chicago and Round Lake Beach, passed away Thursday September 8, 2016 at Morris Hospital.

Born December 30, 1959 in Chicago, Marianne is a daughter of Alice Turner and the late Donald Moberly.  She was raised in Chicago, and then moved to Round Lake Beach before calling Wilmington her home.  Marianne loved spending time in her garden, fishing in the river behind her home and getting a good suntan while on vacation in Florida.  Above all, she loved her grandchildren most.

Survivors include her loving husband Richard A. Reeves of Wilmington; mother: Alice Turner of Janesville, Wisconsin; son: Rob Moberly of Jacksonville, Illinois; daughter: Nicole Polaski of Reynolds Station, Kentucky; step-son: Hunter Reeves of Wilmington; four grandchildren: Jacob, Sky and Jalen Moberly of Jacksonville, Illinois and Andrew Polaski of Reynolds Station, Kentucky; sister: Debbie (Kevin) McDonald of Rockford; brother: Don (Diana) Moberly of Wildwood, Illinois; brother and sister in-law: Karen (Bill) Pfeiler of Winter Haven, Florida and Robert (Donna) Reeves of Plant City, Florida; five nieces: Jenny Porter and Crystal Ross and Justine, Jana and Julieta Moberly.

Marianne was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation and video tribute will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with a celebration of life at 3:30 p.m., at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
