Age 54 of Morris, passed away Sunday morning September 11, 2011 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Margie Ray was born January 1, 1957, a daughter of Marjorie and Raymond Kopczick. She lived her entire life in Morris. Margie Ray worked many years and treasured her time with her friends at The Illinois Valley Workshop.

She is survived by her sisters: Elise Kopczick of Stamford, Connecticut and Melissa (Michael) Bates of Morris; nephews: Lance (Julie) Peterson, John (Deb) Bates and Casey (Erica) Ganz, and nieces: Heather (Jerry) Miller and Andrea Bates, as well as several aunts and great nieces and nephews.

Margie Ray is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Anna Maria Ganz.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 514 East Jackson Street in Morris from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Ed Howe, CR officiating and burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lance Peterson, John Bates, Casey Ganz, Heather Miller, Andrea Bates and Jim Halloran.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Margie Ray's memory to the Illinois Valley Workshop, 1033 3rd Avenue, Morris, Illinois 60450 or Immaculate Conception Catholic School, 505 East North Street, Morris, Illinois 60450
