Margaret Castrale

Age 90 of West Frankfort, Illinois formerly Elwood, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Westside Care Center in West Frankfort.

Born March 5, 1925 in Bradford, Indiana, Margaret was a daughter of  the late James and Mary (Senetto) Masse. She was a longtime employee of Reavis High School in Burbank and Uarco Printing Firm in Chicago.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years: Mike Castrale; two sons:  Michael (Joyce) Castrale and Larry (Phyllis) Castrale; four grandchildren:  Amy, Amanda, Craig, and Jesica; four great grandchildren:  Thomas, Cody, Aidan, and Eleni, and several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Masse and sister, Edith Vogrich.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 604 South Kankakee Street in Wilmington from 9:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Robert Noesen officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Margaret’s memory to St. Rose School, 626 S. Kankakee Street, Wilmington, IL 60481.
