Lynda Jane Leasure

Age 65 of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday August 3, 2017 in Joliet, Illinois.

Lynda was born on August 23, 1951 in Gadsden, Tennessee and grew up in Ridgley Tennessee. She moved to Coal City, Illinois in 1970 where she met Kenny Leasure, whom she married on October 29, 1971. Lynda was residing in Ritchie, Illinois until her passing.

Lynda enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning; took pleasure in being outdoors and riding motorcycles with her husband, and also enjoyed playing Bingo and lottery from time to time. She loved watching movies and singing karaoke with her friends. Lynda was a very kind, thoughtful and goodhearted person.

She is survived by her husband Kenny; her son Anthony (Carin) Leasure of New Lenox; two sisters: Dorothy Abbott of San Antonio, Texas and Mary Ann Aimone of Braidwood, Illinois; four brothers - Lenord Pritchard of Parsons, Tennessee, Jay Pritchard of Wilmington, Dale Pritchard of Coal City, and Johnny Pritchard of Madison, Tennessee, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Elsie Pritchard; one son: David Lynn Leasure; one sister Betty Janis, and five brothers: Wayne Pritchard, Jimmy Pritchard, Bobby Pritchard, Jerry Pritchard, and Joe Pritchard.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, August 6, 2017 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation, and a private family inurnment will be in Wesley Cemetery in Ritchie.
