Age 95 of Coal City, passed away Thursday May 17, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born May 19, 1916 in Utica, Louise was a daughter of the late David Leo and Rosa Clara Neal-Clark. She was raised in Utica until moving with her family to the Coal City area at the age of five. Louise married Romeo Togliatti on December 7, 1935, and he preceded her in January of 1964. Louise worked as a seamstress for Toni Garment, Hyman's and Granert's Clothing factories prior to gaining employment with DeMert in Coal City, from where she retired in 1978. Louise was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City, the Eileen Villagers and Coal City Senior Citizens. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, as well as spending time in her yard and tending to her flowers. Louise will also be remembered as a tremendous Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include three children: David (Karen) Togliatti of Coal City, Richard (Linda) Togliatti of Lake Villa, Illinois and Diane (Mike) Katavich of Braidwood; one daughter-in-law Sandy Togliatti of Columbus, Indiana; (12) grandchildren: Robert (Brigette) Togliatti of Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael (Loni) Togliatti of Morris, Anne (Brian) Residori of Lebanon, Ohio, Ellen (Matt) Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona, Todd (Tammy) Togliatti of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Tedd (Kathy) Togliatti of Charleston, South Carolina, Tim (Valerie) Togliatti of Coal City, Tricia Togliatti of Coal City, Jennifer (Juan) Herrarte of Normal, Illinois, Andrew Togliatti of Lake Villa, Illinois and Paul Katavich and Adam Katavich, both of Braidwood; (22) great grandchildren; (11) great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Celeste Edwards, Jolie Clark and Gladys Togliatti and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Romeo; four brothers: Orville (Catherine) Clark, Burine (Gertrude) Clark, Hurland Clark and Eugene Clark.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Sunday May 20, 2012 between the hours of 2:00PM and 6:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Monday May 21st at 10:00AM in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Robert Noesen officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery, where Louise will be laid to rest with her husband Romeo. Pallbearers will be: Todd Togliatti, Tim Togliatti, Paul Katavich, Adam Katavich, Andy Togliatti and Rob Togliatti.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Louise's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
