Age 90 of Tinley Park, passed away Friday November 9, 2012 at her home.

Born April 28, 1922 in Chicago, Louise was a daughter of the late Renzo "Mike" and Sena Terborg-Kuipers. She was raised in Palos Township and was a 1945 graduate of Evangelical Hospital of Chicago School of Nursing. On August 10, 1946 Louise married William C. Doogan in Chicago and he preceded her on August 14, 2009. She worked as a Registered Nurse most of her life until retiring, when she then took on volunteering at South Suburban Hospital, as well as within the community. Louise was a lifelong member of Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church, where she was also a Sunday School Teacher.

Survivors include; six children: Bill (Lynne) Doogan, Sandra (James) Donovan, Daniel (Veva) Doogan and Marla (William) Krippel, all of Frankfort, Louise (James) Vainowski of Mokena and John (Caren) Doogan of Manhattan; Grandchildren: Heath Doogan, Shelley (Kevin) Haas, Dawn (Mike) Olson, Tracy, Terry (Jen) and Kevin (Cheryl) Donovan, Dan (Heidi), Betsy and Drew (Lucinda) Doogan, Corrie (Terry) Lee, Brian and Steven (Jodi) Krippel, Anna (Erik) Donovan, Amanda Vainowski and Becky, Amy and Emily Doogan; Great Grandchildren: Tanner and Gavin Haas, Ryann and Colin Olson, Chayse and Cole Donovan, Allison and Erin Donovan, Nathan and Eric Doogan, Payton and Jake Lee, Aidan Murphy and Katelyn and Emilee Krippel; two sisters-in-law: Edith (William) Coan of Willow Springs and Alice (the late Melvin) Doogan of Bradley and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband William; one brother William Kuipers; three sisters: Sadie, Everdiena and Cornelia Kuipers, and two grandchildren: twins, Clifford and Lee Anne Doogan.

The family will receive friends on Monday November 12, 2012 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church, 12312 South 88th Avenue, Palos Park, IL 60464. Pastor David Carlton will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort, where Louise will be laid to rest with her husband William.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Louise's memory to Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church or Providence Hospice, 16300 Louis Avenue, South Holland, Illinois 60473.
