Age 76 of Wilmington passed away Wednesday September 29, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center. Born August 15, 1934 in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Tilden & Lillie Wheeler also Preceded in death by his wife Clara in 2008 and four brothers. Survived by his loving children Carla (Ray) Bisgrove of Shelbyville, Charlene (Joe) Lesniewski of Joliet, Darlene (Will) Lee of Washington, Thomasine (John) Chesnut of Effingham, Lilli (Thomas) Skoien of New Lenox and A son Jerry Wheeler of Wilmington also survived by several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and a special friend Tina Skoryi of Wilmington. A member since 1972 of Union Local #150 Operating Engineers. A gathering of family & friends on Sunday October 3, 2010 at the Freitag Funeral Home Wilmington from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 1:00PM With Pastor Caleb Counterman officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded at his request. In lieu of flowers memorials of the donor's choice of charities would be appreciated.
