Loretta Lou Martin

Loretta Lou Martin, 83, of Morris, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
Born December 9, 1938 in Grafton, W. VA, she was the daughter of Alva and Pauline (McDaniel) Lawler. She graduated from Grafton High School with the class of 1956. Later she received her B A Degree in Nursing. For several years she was employed as a registered nurse at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
She is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Susan) Martin of Morris and Patrick (Tamala) Martin of Century, W Va.; one grandson, Joshua (Nicole) Martin of Morris; one great grandson, Liam Martin; several cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bernard in 2004; two brothers.
She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2022 at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Pastor Steve Larson officiating. Interment will follow in ALNC in Elwood, Il.
