Lorene Ruth Howard

Age 81 of Wilmington, passed away Friday April 20, 2012 at her home.

Born October 29, 1930 in Wesley Township, Lorene was a daughter of the late Earl and Bernice Richmond-Warriner. She was raised and educated in Wesley Township and married Charles Howard, whom preceded her in death in 1966. Lorene was a member of Ritchie United Methodist Church and worked as a housekeeper throughout the community for many years. She was a great animal lover and enjoyed her birds.

Survivors include her sister Betty Carr of Dwight and several nieces and nephews, including her special niece Mary (Jim) Walcher of Wilmington, as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will be held Saturday May 5, 2012 at 1:00PM in Wesley Cemetery. Bev Dehler will officate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Lorene's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 South Main Street, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.
