Lois V. Marshall

Age 98 of Wilmington passed away Wednesday evening, July 6, 2016 at the Miller Center in Kankakee.

Born February 27, 1918 in Chicago, Lois was the daughter of Calvin and Minnie (Schoenberger) Zirngibl. She worked as a clerk for Jewel for many years from where she retired. Lois was a member of TOPS, enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and took pleasure in watching TV. She will be most remembered for her love of family and home.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Joyce and Dan Stranich of Wilmington.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Don Marshall; son Jack; two grandsons: Steve and Jim Stranich; one brother Bob Zirngibl and one sister Dorothy Allie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Pastor Zak Wagner of Grace Lutheran Church in Wilmington will officiate.

Burial will follow in North Providence Ridge Cemetery in Elwood, where Lois will be laid to rest with her son and grandsons.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Lois’s memory to the Humane Society.
