Lois F. Hahn, 84, of Morris, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Plainfield with her family by her side.
Born May 8, 1939 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose (Klenner) Jud. She graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago with the class of 1957. She married Elwood “Woody” Hahn on June 27, 1959 at Faith Lutheran Church in Chicago. They lived most of their married life in Evergreen Park and came to Morris in 1996.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn (Jonathan) Bogue of Naperville and Lauren (Vince) Santillo of Minooka; seven grandchildren, Ellen, Thomas and Jeffrey Bogue, Andrew (Rachel), Matthew, Joseph (Caitlin) and Samuel Santillo; one sister, Charlene (James deceased) Neidlinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Elwood, in 2019.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Goodfarm.
Lois enjoyed reading, hiking with her husband, eating out, and was active in the church and bell choir and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 A. M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church Goodfarm with Pastor William Mitschke officiating. Interment will follow in Goodfarm Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the church.
