Lois E. Ginter (nee Moldt)
Age 88 of Elwood, passed away Thursday September 20, 2007 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born March 21, 1919 in Elwood, Lois was a daughter of the late John and Eleanore Moldt. She was a member of the O.E.S. in Elwood and was employed by the Elwood Post Office many years ago. Lois enjoyed being a homemaker and mother and she taught ceramics, as well as enjoyed crafting.
Survivors include one son Robert (the late Jane) Ginter and one daughter Patricia (Jerry) Buchenau, both of Elwood. (12) Grandchildren; (18) Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband George (1985), one daughter Jackie West, her sister Agnes (Everett) Keller and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday September 23, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Robert Peterson officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Lois' memory to the Elwood Fire Department.
