Linda Winchester

Age 61 of Wilmington, formerly Morris, passed away Sunday August 3, 2014 in Wilmington.

Born July 13, 1953 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Rogers. Raised and educated in Morris, Linda graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1971. She loved lighthouses, and would travel to visit as many as she could, and even had a large collection of lighthouses.

Linda was passionate about maintaining a beautiful home, keeping a meticulous garden and landscaping.

Survivors include her daughter: Shannon (Robert) Cupp of Morris; sister-in-law: Cheryl Rogers of Oak Park; nephew: Joseph Rogers of Oak Park and her beloved canine companion Gretchen.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother William Rogers, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Friday August 15, 2014 at 3:00PM in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris, where Linda will be laid to rest with her parents.
