Age 76 of Elwood, passed away at home Thursday morning March 18, 2010 with family At his side. Born June 26, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, IL to the late Wiley Bird and Helen Irene (Simmons) Hill also preceded in death by his son Michael Wayne Hill. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years Wanda J. (Rainwater) Hill; three dear sons Ricky (Amy) and Rodney Hill both of Mt. Vernon and Gary Hill of Elwood; three grandsons Jason (Jen) Hill of Essex, Nickolas Hill US AirForce and Alec Hill of Howe Military Indiana; a twin brother Chester (Carol) Hill of Mt. Vernon; several nieces and nephews; two brother-in-laws Lowell Rainwater of Channahon And Gaile Rainwater of Buffalo,IL and a special friend Karl Hering of Crest Hill. Retired welder Of Caterpillar Tractor of Joliet retiring in 1983 after 30 years. Member of the Island City Baptist Church Wilmington. Visitation Monday March 22, 2010 from 4 to 8PM at the Freitag Funeral Home Wilmington. Services Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 11:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Taylor officiating.
