Lavohn M. Pahlke

Age 71 of Beaverville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday May 28, 2008 at her home.

Born December 12, 1936 in Lyons, Nebraska, Lavohn was a daughter of the late Clifford and Phyllis McAllister-Pahlke. She was raised and educated in Nebraska and worked as a Legal Secretary until her retirement. Lavohn was a member of the Apostolic Church of Sheldon and was known for her love of breeding and showing dogs.

Survivors include her son Michael Pahlke of Joliet; one grandson Mitchell; one sister Mayone (Richard) Japp of Washington, Nebraska; one niece Pamula and five nephews: Scott, Lonny, Reid, Matthew and Tim, as well as her dear friend Fran (Joseph) Heffelfinger.

Lavahon was preceded in death by her parents; son Kevin on June 13, 1994 and one sister Kay Miller.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 03, 2008 from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Pastor Ron and Sister Mickey Childers will officiate the services and inurnment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
