Larry P. Enger

Larry P. Enger, 66, of Morris, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Arcadia Care of Morris surrounded by his family. Born August 26, 1958 in Morris, he was the son of Charles and Doris (Knutson) Enger. He graduated from Morris Community High School Class of 1976. He was employed for many years with his father at Enger Concrete. Later, he was employed for many years with the Cement Masons Union #11 and Area 161.
He is survived by his children, Eric Enger of Morris, IL; and Layne (Zachary) Lorden of Milwaukee, WI. He is also survived by his grandson, Elliott Enger of Morris, IL; his brother, Robin (Carol) Enger of Morris, IL; and his uncle Gary (Carol) Gunnerson of Palm Springs, CA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Morris Eagles #1024 and the Sons of the American Legion.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He also enjoyed traveling, golfing, hunting, and music.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
