Age 46 of Wilmington and formerly Goose Lake, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2009.

Born December 25, 1962 in Chicago, Kris is a son of Joyce Grabow of Goose Lake and Harold Grabow of Wisconsin. He was raised and educated in Chicago and Coal City, and was a graduate of Coal City High School. Kris was known for his love of fishing and talking to people.

Survivors include his parents: Joyce Grabow of Goose Lake and Harold Grabow of Wisconin; one brother Kirby (Colleen) Grabow of Marseilles; three aunts; one niece and four nephews.

Kris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Henriette and George Schoenbacher; paternal grandparents: Harold and Muriel Grabow; uncle George Schoenbacher; brother Kirk Grabow and his companion Holly Wallbanger.

Cremation rites are being accorded per the wishes of the family and a Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 21, 2009 at 1:00PM in Abundant Life Fellowship Church, 23632 Illinois Route 113 in Wilmington. Greg Linkous will officiate and interment will be private.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Kris' memory to Morning Star Mission, 350 East Washington Street, Joliet, IL 60433 (www.morningstarmission.org)
