Kevin Thompson

Kevin Thompson, 56, of Morris, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 with his loving daughter and wife by his side.
Born March 13, 1965 in Morris, he was the son of Eugene and Elinor (McClenning) Thompson. He graduated from Minooka High School and later attended Joliet Junior College. He was employed as a mechanic for the Joliet Park District and at Big R in Morris.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Thompson of Joliet; his wife, Deborah Seeman and her son, Rob Findlay of Morris; three sisters, Lorna (Michael) Wardlow of Crystal Lake, Lisa (Bob) Joneson of Morris and Janine (Jon) Murphy of Morris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
He loved cooking, going to movies, enjoyed working on various projects and spending time with his family and friends.
Memorials may be given to Cancer Treatment Centers of America or Joliet Area Community Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Pastor Steve Larson officiating. Interment will follow in Saratoga Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
