Keith Reich

Keith Edwin Reich

Age 81 of Custer Park, Illinois, formerly Wheatland, Wyoming, was born February 10, 1933 in Delta County, Colorado to Lyman and Leva (Hill) Reich and died November 6, 2014.

Keith honorably served in the US Army in the era of the Korean Conflict. During this time he established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He remained active in church for a lifetime and was a Godly example to his children, grandchildren and all who knew him. Keith enjoyed his family most. He also enjoyed outdoor activities which included: fishing, hunting, gardening and "tromping through the woods".

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary (Bowen) Reich; sons: Art (Lisa) Reich and Lyman (Darlene) Reich; daughters: Edith (Dan) Peyton and Lucy (Craig) Sisson; (17) grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his brother Joe Reich; five sisters: Florence Edwards, Lila Emmons, Lucy Cosslett, Maxine Amsbury and Beulah Edwards.

Keith wrote a personal message for all: "He wasn't good enough to go to Heaven, all can safely say. You are very right I wasn't, but Jesus paid my way. Upon the Cross of Calvary, He bled and died for me. On resurrection morning He arose for all to see: His hands, His feet, His side, had been pierced to set me free. No works of mine nor words sublime ever could avail. Its simply this, I would only fail. In His own righteousness me, He did array. So you see, my friend, it was only Jesus who could ever pay my way."

The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 12, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service 12:30 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.
