Kathleen S. Mackowiak

Age 53 of Goose Lake and formerly Oak Lawn, passed away Saturday January 24, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Born September 22, 1961 in Chicago, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Dale and Carol (Moselle) Mackowiak. She was raised and educated in Oak Lawn.

Survivors include her life partner Doug Katocs of Goose Lake; two brothers: Rick (Joannie) Mackowiak and Scott Mackowiak, both of Cicero and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Thursday January 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until time of services 7:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Reverend Robert Noesen from Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Kathleen's memory to her family for their distribution.
