Kathleen C. Case

Kathleen C. Case, 75, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 peacefully at Goldwater Nursing Home in Pontiac.
Born June 11, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Edward and Rita (Rathslag) Davies. She graduated from Glenbrook South in Glenview, Illinois. Then she received her Master’s Degree at Governors State University. She married William Case on June 30th, 1971. She was employed with Chicago Public Schools for many years. Later, she taught at the Illinois Youth Department of Corrections.
She is survived by her children, Tamara (Shawn) Benner of Morris, Illinois, Sean Case of Bloomington, Illinois and Edward (Katie) Case of Morris, Illinois. Four grandchildren, Patrick Boyd, Callie Case, Caitlyn Case, Brodie Case and Taz the cat.
Preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and her sister Barbara Davies.
She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She loved fishing in Canada.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or Lung Association.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Fruland Funeral Home 121 W. Jefferson Morris, Illinois from 5-7 p.m. Chapel services will be held Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plains Illinois at 12 p.m.
