June Krull
Age 67 of Mazon, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Park Pointe in Morris.
Born March 29, 1948 in Morris, June Ellen was a daughter of the late William and Maxine (Peterson) Sproull. She attended primary school in Verona; graduated from MVK High School with the Class of 1966, and went on to attend Joliet School of Cosmetology. On April 8, 1967, June married Robert Krull in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City. She worked at Napa Auto, Bum's Tavern and Cinder Ridge before gaining full time employment with Grundy County Animal Control, from where she has worked for the past 19 years. June was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City. She enjoyed working in her yard, and will be most remembered for love of spending time with friends and family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Survivors include three sons: Matthew (Caley) Krull and Jacob Krull, both of Mazon and James (Megan) Krull of Morris; her daughter-in-law Kelly Krull of Mazon; seven grandchildren: Grace and Alaina Reid, Annebelle and Tessa Krull, Kyler and Cade Krull and Hannah Krull; one sister-in-law Irene (Robert, Sr.) Allen of Joliet; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear and very special friends.
June was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Krull; son Andrew Krull and brother Charles Sproull.
Visitation and video tribute will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Wednesday morning, February 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street in Coal City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Robert Noesen officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery in Mazon, where June will be laid to rest with her husband Robert and son Andrew.
Pallbearers will be: David Allen, Pete Kodat, Bill Gill, Sr., Bill Narwick, John Sproull and Billy Sproull. Honorary Pallbearers are: John Yanites, Frank Halpin and Paul Wills
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in June's memory to the Grundy County Animal Control.
