Julie Gomora

JULIE K. GOMORA

Age 91 of Branson West, Missouri and formerly Coal City, Illinois passed away Saturday July 08, 2006 at Tablerock Health Care Center in Kimberling City, Missouri.

Born June 04, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri, Julie was a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (legrand) Rawlish. She was brought up and educated in Eileen and Coal City, and on August 15, 1938 Julie married John J. Gomora, Jr. in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where she was a member. In her free time Julie was known for her pie making and canning.

Survivors include two sons: Ronald (Cecelia) Gomora of Branson West, Missouri and James Gomora of Libertyville, Illinois. Three Grandchildren: Erin (Colin) Sheridan of Mundelein, Illinois, Ronald, Jr. (Kimberly) Gomora of Ashley, Illinois and Jason (Tracy) Gomora of Corpus Christi, Texas and six great grandchildren.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters: Kathryn, Jeannie and Mary and three brothers: Ray, Steve and Mike.

Graveside services for Julie will be held on Saturday July 22, 2006 at 11:00AM in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery. Rev. Mike Pennock from Assumption Catholic Church will officiate.

Funeral services and arrangements were under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
