Judy Warner

Judy Dale Warner (nee Hockman)

Age 64 of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday April 18, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, Illinois.

Born September 2, 1942 in Hardinville, Illinois, Judy was a daughter of the late Roy Dale and Caroline (Hesler) Hockman. She was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University (1965) and taught in Paris, Illinois, Findley, Illinois and Braidwood, Illinois prior to retiring in 1994. Judy was an active member of First Christian Church in Wilmington and member of Illinois Education Association, National Education Association, Wilmington Moose Lodge and National Wildlife Association. She greatly enjoyed gardening and her dog "Echo" and was an excellent caregiver to many in need.

Survivors include her brother Daniel (Lois) Hockman and sister Sandy (Byron) Boyer, both of Charleston, Illinois; loving nephews: Bo Coonce, Kevin Coonce, Josh Boyer and Steven Wayne (Carla) Hockman and great nephew Ryan Hockman; special friend of Earl Spinner of Wilmington and friend to many others.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank (1992).

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 21, 2007 from 8:00AM until time of funeral service 10:00AM at First Christian Church, 1824 Church Street in Wilmington. Pastor Jerry Tipton will officiate and burial will follow at 4:00PM in Oblong Cemetery in Oblong, Illinois.
