Judy Juknuis

Judy Carol Juknuis

Age 61 of Minooka and formerly the Cicero, Berwyn and Summit areas, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born September 11, 1952 in Chicago, Judy is a daughter of Ralph Saylor of Cicero and the late Pauline (nee Hensley). She was a 1970 graduate of Morton East High School in Cicero, and on November 22, 1975, Judy married Kent D. Juknuis.

Survivors include her father Ralph Saylor; husband of 38 years Kent; daughter Jennifer Juknuis (Jeffrey Rodriguez) of Diamond; five grandchildren, whom were the love of her life: Steven Juknuis, Matthew Juknuis, Nicholas Rodriguez, Chloe Rodriguez and Amber Rodriguez; three sisters: Patricia (the late William) Gallagher of Plainfield, Brenda (Dwight) Garrison of Brookfield and Beverly Saylor of Frankfort; one brother Timothy (Meara) Saylor of Mokena and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother Pauline.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Monday January 20, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Tuesday morning January 21st, with a procession leaving the funeral home at 10:00AM to Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway in Orland Park for an 11:30AM service. Pastor Brian Oswald will officiate and cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Pallbearers will be Steven Juknuis, Matthew Juknuis, Jeff Rodriguez, Tim Saylor, Joseph Gallagher, Dwight Garrison and Bruce Hofsteadter.
