Age 83 of Nettle Creek Township, Morris, passed away Sunday July 06, 2008 at Walnut Grove in Morris.

Born October 09, 1924 in Rural Wilmington, Joe was a son of the late Joseph J. and Elizabeth P. Yung-Rodeghero. He was raised and educated in the Wilmington area and was a lifelong grain and dairy farmer in Wauponsee and Nettle Creek Townships. Joe was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris and the Grundy County Farm Bureau. He was a collector of antiques and enjoyed flea markets, hunting and fishing. Joe was a kind and gentle soul who always found the best in everyone he met.

Survivors include his brother George (Barbara) Rodeghero of Kankakee; three nephews: Stephen Rodeghero and Timothy (Paula) Rodeghero, both of Morris and Daniel Spery of Bourbonnais; eight great nieces and great nephews: Mark, Christopher, Bradley, Miranda, Joseph, Anthony, Sarah and George and numerous cousins and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Betty Lou Rodeghero and one nephew Christopher Rodeghero.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday July 09, 2008 between the hours of 6:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow on Thursday July 10th at 11:00AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 East Jackson Street in Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Steve Bondi and Deacon Robert Stansberry officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington and pallbearers will be: George Rodeghero, Anthony Rodeghero, Joseph Rodeghero, Mark Kiger, Christopher Rodeghero and Bradley Rodeghero.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Joe's memory to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Fund, 516 East Jackson Street, Morris, Illinois 60450.
