"Joe"

Age 23 of South Wilmington, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010.

Born December 20, 1986 in Berwyn, Joe is a son of Deborah Artist-Cvitanovich of Gardner and Dave Cvitanovich of Wilmington. He was raised and educated in the South Wilmington and Reddick area and was known for enjoying fishing and playing pool. Joe was crazy about his two sons.

Survivors include his two sons: Christopher and Nicholas "Nicko"; parents: Deb Cvitanovich (John Hill) of Gardner and Dave Cvitanovich (Amy) of Wilmington; brothers and sisters: Timothy of South Wilmington, Shelby of Gardner, and Tommy, Amanda and Angelo all of Wilmington and his grandparents: Marie Cvitanovich of Romeoville and Larry and Linda Artist of Port Charlotte, Florida; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather David Cvitanovich and two brothers: Christopher and Adam.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 4:00pm until time of funeral service 8:00pm at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty Street in downtown Gardner. Pastor Jan Chandler from Church of Hope will officiate, and a private family interment will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Joe's memory to his family for distribution to local charities of their choosing or to a charity of the donor's choice.
