Joseph Briones

Age 89 of Coal City and formerly of California, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born May 6, 1927 in Joliet, Joseph was a son of the late Louis and Bernabe (Casares) Briones. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church of Goose Lake, 3950 North Goose Lake Road (at Lorenzo/Pine Bluff Road) in Morris on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Caleb Counterman will officiate, and inurnment with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
