"Drew"

Age 55 of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 15, 2014 at his home following a battle with long term health complications.

Born February 26, 1959 in Joliet, John Andrew, Jr. is a son of John "Jack" Andrew Treadman, Sr. of Douglasville, Georgia and the late Isabel (Hill) Treadman. He was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School with the Class of 1977. He was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, and will be remembered as an avid NASCAR and Indy Race fan, who traveled to attend races in Talladega, AL, Indianapolis, IN and Joliet, IL. Drew collected and built a huge train display at home in his garage and he enjoyed the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. In his free time Drew also took pleasure in playing competitive board games, checkers and Monopoly.

Survivors include his father and step mother: John, Sr. "Jack" and June (Keltz a�" Jessen) Treadman of Douglasville, Georgia; two daughters: Diana Day of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Morgan Ferguson of Paducah, Kentucky; the mother of his children Holly Davis of Tampa, Florida; his step-brother David Jessen; several cousins: Bill Treadman, Grace Hert, Larry Treadman, Earl Hines, Patty Abanatha, Jack Skeldon and Mike Sullivan, as well as dear friends: Kenneth Wright, Tom McCormick and Mike Marietta.

Drew was preceded in death by his mother Isabel; grandparents: Ray and Viola Treadman and Ruth Hill; uncle William Treadman; aunts: Carol Sullivan and Pat Skeldon; cousins: Donnie Skeldon and Joel Treadman, and his dog Chenelle.

The family will receive friends Sunday August 24, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 4:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.

Drew will be laid to rest alongside his mother Isabel in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington on Monday.
