Age 36 of Braceville and formerly Joliet, passed away Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Morris Hospital.

Born August 30, 1975 in Joliet, John is a son of Janice (Michael Harvey) Mores of Braceville and the late John Emery Mores. He was a graduate of Joliet Central High School with the Class of 1994 and was a member of the Joliet First Church of the Nazarene. John greatly enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his mother and step-father: Janice Mores and Michael Harvey of Braceville; paternal grandmother Marge Mores of Joliet; two sisters: Melissa (David) Bright of Mazon and Michelle Henderson (Jason) Edmond of Coal City; two aunts: Jodi (Richard) Isberg of Wilmington and Janet (Brad) Drew of Rockdale; one uncle Paul Steven McCain of Joliet and five nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his father John Emery Mores (1996); sister Christine Mores (1980); maternal grandparents: William "Fred" and Janice Henderson; paternal grandfather John Mores and one uncle Michael Mores.

The family will receive friends on Saturday January 7, 2012 from 1:00PM until time of funeral service 3:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Pastor Michael Day will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in John's memory to his family for their distribution.
