John Groholski

John Edward Groholski

Age 71 of Shorewood, passed away Saturday February 27, 2010 in Sun City, AZ.

Born May 17, 1938 in Chicago, John was a son of the late John and Antonette Gentile-Groholski. He was a former owner/partner of Midwest Industrial Sales in Channahon until his retirement in 2003. Known for being an avid fisherman and an accomplished bowler, John was also a very proud grandpa.

Survivors include three children: Bob (MaryBeth) Groholski and Jean (Steve) Deal, both of Peoria, AZ and Mike (Jennifer) Groholski of Shorewood; six grandchildren: Cameron and Owen Deal, Alexis Buccini and Emily, Matthew and Megan Groholski; one brother Mike Groholski; three sisters: Sandra Peters, Karen Groholski and Marjorie Kraus; one brother-in-law Robert Manley and his former business partner and valued friend Joe (Karen) Vinachi.

John was preceded in death by his parents and wife Josephine.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Thursday March 4, 2010 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. (815/722-0524)

Funeral services will follow Friday March 5th at 9:30AM in the Funeral Home and burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
