John Joseph Dziuban, Sr.

Age 72, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Born and raised in Joliet, John Joseph Dzuiban was the son of Joseph John and Theresa (Penosky) Dzuiban. He attended Joliet Central High School. John worked as a self-employed handyman and lived his entire life in Joliet.

He was an avid fan of all types of racing, especially of NASCAR.

Survivors include two children: Penny (Drew) Smith of Joliet and John Joseph (Rebecca) Dzuiban of Piper City, Illinois; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; one brother, Robert Dzuiban, and one sister, Susan (Billy) Cox. He is also survived by his special friend, Gaylan Delsasso, and Amy, Mary Beth, and Rhonda from Joshua Arms Apartments on Rowell.

John was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Lou Cernetich.

A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.
