John Darin

John A. Darin age 75 of Englewood, Florida, formerly Morris, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 11, 2012 at his home.

Born January 1, 1937 in Morris, John was the son of the late Anton and Marie Haldorson-Darin. He was raised and educated in Morris where he graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1954. He served with the United States Air Force and later worked as a Fuel Carrier for the Dresden Generating Station. John was known to be a worldwide traveler and enjoyed living by the water, spending time watching boats, and biking.

Survivors include one brother: Roy (Shirley) Darin of Morris and one sister Mary Louise Talty of Darien, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents Anton and Marie Darin; three brothers: Anthony Darin in childhood, Willis Darin, and Leo Darin; one sister: Rita Brown; one nephew Gary Talty and one niece Rebecca Darin-Iverson.

A private family inurnment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.
