John Jonas Bliudzius

Age 79 of Wilmington formerly of Romeoville, passed away Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph's Medical Center Joliet. Born July 28, 1931 in Kleipeda, Lithuania to the late Karl and Mary (Biudzus) Bliudzius. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years Karyn S. (Van Holt); two children Kevin (Anne) Bliudzius and Bridget (Daniel) Conlin all of Wilmington, five grandchildren Melissa, Jennifer, Jessika, Joshua and Jayson; two great grandchildren Cayden and MacKenzie. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1954 to 1957 in Korea and Germany. Retired after 37 years from Electro-Motive in LaGrange as a Test Mechanic. A former member of the Romeoville VFW. Visitation Sunday August 1, 2010 from 1:00PM until time of services at 5:00PM at the Freitag Funeral Home Wilmington. Cremation Rites will be accorded after services and final interment will at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at 10:00AM with Military Honors by the US Army and Color guard. Please meet at the Information Center at 9:45AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the ASPCA for pets would appreciated.
