Age 76 years, of Morris, passed away peacefully in her home, January 30, 2011.

Born September 22, 1934 in Sandwich, Illinois Joda was a daughter of the late Alvin C. and Evelyn E (Bagwell) Hanson. She was raised and educated in Montgomery, Illinois and a graduate of West Aurora High School. Joda married Donald Williamson on February 9, 1957 at Plattville Lutheran Church and moved to Yorkville, then Minooka, IL. She worked at Sears Roebuck in Aurora, Barber Green in Montgomery, Fox Valley Shopper in Yorkville and Kendall Grundy FS in Minooka when she retired in 1996. Joda and Donald were snowbirds in Okeechobee, FL.

Joda is the beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of the late Gary (Patty) Williamson of Newark, Lori (Bruce Packard) Williamson of Downers Grove, Shari (Herbert) Fishburn of Channahon Cherished grandmother of Herbert (Breanne Skully) Fishburn II, Andrew Fishburn, Emily (Gary Nelson) Fishburn, Wyatt and Eli Williamson. Dear sister of William (Peg) Hanson, sister in law of Dale (Sue) Williamson, the late Terry (Sandra ) Hanson and Dennis (Helen ) Hanson. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin C. and Evelyn E (Bagwell) Hanson, brother, Terry Hanson (1999), son, Gary Williamson (2003) and brother, Dennis Hanson (2011).

Visitation HAS BEEN CHANGED TO Thursday, February 3rd, between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 E. Washington St. (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris and Friday, February 4th at Lisbon Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 10:00am until time of funeral service 11:00am. Reverend Randy Nelson and Reverend William Shields will officiate and burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery. Pall bearers will be John Williamson, Herbert Fishburn II, Andrew Fishburn, Wyatt Williamson, Eli Williamson and Bruce Packard.

Preferred memorials in Joda's memory to Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice, Lisbon Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Lisbon Cemetery.
