Joan Herman

Joan A. Herman Age 81 of Wilmington, passed away Friday Morning November 19, 2010 in Bradley. Born March 11, 1929 in Morris to the late George & Catherine (Krick) Griggs also preceded in death by a brother Jack Griggs. Loving wife of Francis J. Herman for 64 years married on November 23, 1946. Dearest mother to five children Cathy Herman of Wilmington, Pamela (Rick) Latham of Bourbonnais, Daniel Herman of Wilmington, Susan (Roger) Johnson of Wilmington and John (Stacy) Herman of Morris; Cherished grandmother to seven Rhonda (Joe) Drake, Brad Latham, Amanda Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Leslie Herman, Justin Johnson and Mitchell Herman; two great grandsons Noah & Nathanael Drake, the love of Joan's life was her children and grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends on Monday November 22, 2010 from 5:00 until time of prayer services at 7:00PM at the Freitag Funeral Home. Cremation rites will take place after services with interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery Morris at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials to the National Breast Cancer Fondation would be appreciated.
