Joan M. Ferari

Age 81 of Wilmington, Illinois, died Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois. 

Born January 18, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, Joan Marie was a daughter of Stanley and Eve Erchul. She was raised and educated in Chicago and on August 28, 1971, she married Charles Ferari, Sr. Joan was an avid reader and a woman of strong faith. She will be remembered for being a loving wife and mother who cherished her family above all else.

Survivors include her son, Charles "Chuck" Ferari, Jr. of Wilmington; three siblings: Carol Porter, Dan Erchul, and Dave Erchul; and three nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Eve; her husband, Chuck Ferari, Sr., and one brother, Rich Erchul.

A visitation will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, where Joan will be laid to rest with her husband, Chuck.
