"Sissy"

Age 24 of Braidwood and formerly Wilmington, passed away suddenly Friday January 27, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born October 12, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee, Jessica is a daughter of Liz Wolfson (nee VonHolt) and Danny Overton. She attended Wilmington High School and was a full time Mom who adored her two daughters. Jessica had a great love for children as a whole and enjoyed babysitting. She had a fondness for horses and the outdoors, and enjoyed music, as well as spending time on the computer.

Survivors include her two daughters: Kayla and Kaylee White; parents: Liz (Don) Wolfson of Toronto, Canada and Danny (Cyndy) Overton of Braidwood; four brothers: Daniel Overton and Matthew Overton, both of Wilmington, William Hartman, Jr. of Romeoville and Wyatt Hartman of Braidwood; maternal grandparents: Barbara VonHolt of Downers Grove and Fredrick (Bev) VonHolt of Palmetto, Florida; paternal grandmother Verna Mai Overton of Covington, Tennessee and aunts and uncles: Terry (Maureen) Overton of Channahon, Jesse W. (Mary Jane) Overton of Wilmington, John VonHolt of Seattle, Washington, Renee Asairo of Downers Grove, Debbie Horaz and Henry Evans, both of Romeoville and Brenda Evans of Plainfield, as well as numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jesse O. Overton; two brothers: Joseph and Samuel; grandparents: William and Darline Evans and one cousin Jamie Overton.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Tuesday January 31, 2012 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Wednesday February 1st at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Willard Grove Cemetery in Channahon. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Overton, Matthew Overton, William Hartman, Jr., Wyatt Hartman, Josh White and Terry Frost.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Jessica's memory to The Ronald McDonald House Charities, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523 (www.rmhc.org) or to the family for their distribution in the care of Jessica's daughters.
