Jeffery A. Burmeister

Age 44 of Braceville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening March 15, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident.

Born November 04, 1964 in Oak Park, Illinois, Jeff is a son of the late Fred and Katherine Puls-Burmeister. He was a member of the Local 150 and Local 75. Jeff greatly enjoyed cycling, boating, his son and his little brother.

Survivors include his wife Stacey (nee Hughes); two children: Shauntrae Burmeister and Kyle Burmeister; one granddaughter: Mileena; two brothers: Kirk (Dawn) Bauer of Gardner and Scott Burmeister of Wilmington; one sister: Bunny Christerson of Michigan; mother and father-in-law: David and Barb Hughes of Channahon and Bill and Teresa Zenke of Plainfield, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jeff was preceded by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2009 between the hours of 3:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington.

Funeral services will follow on Saturday March 21st at 10:00AM in Island City Baptist Church in Wilmington, where Ron Taylor will officiate.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
